About the Library Collection
The library's holdings are concentrated in the following areas: aging, health policy, children and youth, immigrant absorption and disability.
The computerized catalog contains access to 27,000 titles and 548 periodicals. The collection includes the publications of the various units of JDC (JDC-Israel, ELKA, ESHEL, ASHALIM) and all publications of the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute.
About the Library Catalog
The catalog is currently accessible on the Institute premises only; it is not searchable via the university ALEPH network. The library's journal titles are, however, listed in the network's Union List of Serials under the code BRO, and book titles are listed in the Union List of Israel.
Interlibrary Loan
The Library accepts requests via mail or fax from other libraries for books and photocopies of journal articles. Library staff respond to requests received by e-mail or fax.
Who may use the Library?
Library services are available to policy makers, field professionals, researchers and the general public (Working professionals in fields related to Institute activities may borrow books). Library staff assists users with bibliographic searches in the library online catalog; there is a fee for use of CD-ROM databases.
